A few weeks ago I received a match notification from 23andMe about
another user who appeared to be a 1st/2nd cousin. I was intrigued by
this because I think I know who all of my 1st and 2nd cousins are, and I wasn't aware of anyone else who was delving into the family history.
This
evening I indirectly figured out who it was. I'm excited to see where
this goes because it sounds like there may be some interesting genetic
traits to compare!
I (was) a 20-something-year-old who stumbled into the world of genealogy all because of a scandal. Researching since 2008.
